PresenceA Poem by JJ Escobar
It is different as Time begins to slow down
All the hurry must have been of no use before Knowledge has brought a mind to be sound Will the waste of time in my past be restored? Present. I am asked to experience Truth There are days where I ask, “Where has the zeal gone?” Hopeful. I have fought the desire to be aloof Faith has shown to have an unbreakable bond As I come out from the depths of the forest The seasons of change whisper of new adventures The pace becomes one of a present day, so I rest In the daylight I cling to my most precious treasure When the minds of men question my reverence I will always be reminded of your omnipresence © 2020 JJ EscobarAuthor's Note
