A prayerA Poem by MrBooyayKneeling in humbleness because I spoke your name Every time I feel your presence, my pride becomes my shame. Is it that I refuse, or simply because I cannot how imperfect I am shows through the knots I would do as you ask if only commanded, but this silence haunts my life, as if reprimanded When I need you, you're near, at least I can feel you But when I'm simply talking, its like im a mumbling fool. When that day comes where we can meet face to face I pray that im not blinded by your purity and grace I pray that i make it, to see your throne so I may, in the end, not be alone. I pray for forgiveness, of my imperfect nature, And for guidance, and direction, in my prideful stature. Give me life, water to quench my unyielding thirst, Give my hope, and joy that I may be nursed, I give you my soul, my unshakable trust, You have my heart, now use me, guide me, as you must.
