How to know a friend

How to know a friend

A Poem by MrBooyay

I wait for death,
To give me new breathe
I long to die,
My last goodbye
Words are weak,
hallow and bleak
But actions are bold,
more precious than gold.
When death come by,
when the children cry
When all run in fear,
dreading what's near
Death will flee,
when he see's it's me
I will not die,
simply cease to coincide
And begin anew,
a life so true
And the life I knew,
so far, so stretched, but renewed
Will whither and dust,
becoming my thrust
My reason for going,
without ever knowing
My hope for the past,
that it wont wither so fast
That those I've known,
Despite distances grown
Will remember who I am,
And will be there to stand
When I ask not to be alone,
they'll cast off their own
And a friend shall be named,
Contrary to the game
Now death will fear two,
and we'll both push through.
