No pain no gain

That is what they say

But the scars

Will never get the pain away

Alive but not really

So sad  

It’s almost silly

Nobody understands

Nobody ever will

So much pain

It could kill

Can’t take much more

It hurts so bad

Heart so sore

Marks on the outside

Score a terrible cost

Scared someone will find out

And feeling scared and lost

I just wish that I could drive

To a place where I felt  free, happy

And alive
