Falling asleep with youA Poem by Leo TheSaintFalling asleep with you, Feels like floating on one gently movig river stream Holding my pillow like I'd have been holding you Before I fall asleep I had to stare your face Asleep like a little kitten on the belly of her mother You closed your eyes and forehead relaxed Followed by a smile and one deep breath The smile was contagious and told myself "Yes what a creation of beauty" Firm I hold you feeling your warms and the softness of your skin Smooth like soothing velvet feel electrifying my senses I closed my eyes putting myself to sleep. Next thing I could hear the alarm buzzing me to wake up Turning around and reach my hand which I thought they still hold tightly Few runs of my hand my eyes closed nothing felt like night before That moment I knew you were not there. I just smile and spoke silently “Nigwedete Mumbi” “Nguganile Mumbi” “Je taime Mumbi” “Ninakupenda Mumbi” “I Love you Mumbi” And that moment I stopped worrying because I knew you'll be back. © 2009 Leo TheSaintAuthor's Note
