I am the winner, so the loser

I am the winner, so the loser

A Poem by It's Me, The Miracle
"

Sad outcome of a war fought against oneself

"

Success defied following me, though I defeated my foe

Can anyone tell me how did I fail in this war?

I have no answer for I was just perfect

The armors I used were flawless

The arms I put-upon were great

The warriors I had were keen

I made the enemy outwore

I got her count death

I caused the foe to cry

All my efforts went in vein

My warriors ran from the field

All my arms lost its expected goal

My flawless armors tasted the bitterness

My travails and assays to tire out the foe flunked

Unaware of the reason, I looked at my enemy’s face

Oh Goodness!!! Now I knew the reason for my failure

I was fighting with myself: success and defeat both are mine

Last lines are fact. When we hold conflict in our heart and mind. We will lose. Thank you for the amazing poem.

I know you really mean your words...so thanks a lot for the comment
Someone taught me these and I am not here to teach you on this as well but it is what I learned from this person's knowledge:
"There are a thousand defeats to one's own personal success." as to"There are a thousand successes to one's own defeat."
but "The greatest victory ever won was found in the heart of the defeated's soul for they knew that even in their darkest moment they learned they were still equally as human as the person who won and that alone was their greatest success."

You are a human in the beginning, in the middle and in the end because you made you to become successful and at the same time feel at lost. For I'm sure there were sacrifices you had made along the way to get where you wanted to be in life.

(And oh...sorry to be a bit nitty-gritty here but did you mean vain as in vanity on that part or did you mean vein as in the course of your blood that really ran its course?)
