Spring returned to my garden

Spring returned to my garden

A Poem by It's Me, The Miracle
"

A poem on regained friendship

"

You came like a breeze that soothes the wound

Like the fulfillment of a dream that was  always alive

The pain and sorrows of the past cannot be undone

Even the prospects of leaving them also are rarer

I’m thankful to God for the past cannot be erased

As you are there in past whom I never can delete

Still do cherish that past aloof where you were me

The joyful days that we made together for each other

Where you were my friend, soul mate and path finder

Things went on a day without uttering even a word

I opened my inner eyes to see you but, I couldn't

I wanted you beside me in all my tearful moments

I wished to stay by your side in all the times you wept.

The departed clocks showed me how delicate I’m

Without you, I never was perfect as you fulfilled my flaw

You are my best friend whom I always cared to get back

Thanks for walking into my courtyard with those flowers

The flowers of memory that ushers the spring once again

As you are that spring for whom I always waited for

To make my garden full of flowers and cheers once again

It is awesome!!
May I find me standing somewhere in your poem..
True ,love is expectation less and satisfied only with its far memory which can never turn into its tomorrow..

Thanks a lot for the review dear friend
Such a beautifully metaphorical poem. You shared your loss so poignantly and then the renewal of a lost time(like Spring) made me smile. So glad the ending was happy, even though turmoil and loneliness preceded it.
Excellent writing indeed!

I loved how you describe friendship in such a delicate way by using the garden as a metaphor. My best friend and I went through this. I moved 3 hours away a year after graduation, she moved 3 hours away from her house for college, and we kind of lost touch. However, I still thought about her and hoped she was ok. But one day, I decided to text her, and we caught up with each other. Long story short, we are having a girlfriends date day in October and we both are so excited about it. This was an awesome poem that truly displayed the sanctity of true friendship.

A little rain must fall now and again for bright flowers to bloom and just as winter bites hard, spring will surely follow !

Nice pleasant nature themed poem with a sprinkling of love thrown in for good measure !

Quite a friend you lost in here reminded by their sudden departure in your life. Quite the tragedy and one somewhat a bittersweet memory for sure. It's as if there are lingering feelings when the season rolls around too. Melancholic from what I could see. More on that it's that feeling never forgotten.

Have a good day and take care.

A beautiful poem. I have my Grandfather's roses. Every Spring they come alive and I see his smile. I enjoyed the description of the journey into your beautiful garden. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
