Blue Eyes

For a friend, who's in a band, and has women fawning over him nightly.

You wonder why

Women fawn

Over every word

Every syl-la-ble

 

“Your eyes,” I told you

Once

And you flashed

A smile

One that reached

Those Blue Eyes

 

You’re handsome

Yes

Voice full of beauty

Too

But it’s those eyes

Blue Eyes

That sing

 

Vibrant

So full of life

As you rock

Their worlds

The mundane

The tedious

But not with you

 

They see those eyes

And hear your words

Your eyes sing

To them

Making their world

A little brighter
