Loopy Din

Loopy Din

A Poem by jinjahman
"

inward observation at a point in time

"

to be honest

I'm tired

I see not many ways

except those of countenance

to rest the combining fear

my heart is a spring

coiled tight

my liver complains

but my ear is blocked

and my back aches

so I cant get up

to turn down the

blaring radio

full of

commercials and bad news

it plays sweet sounds

when sun goes down.

I'll listen......

so long as DJ

hasn't got his/her mic

up to an a*s

or a donkey

bray-hay-ing

hey-ho

playin' it fast

just playing it

to be honest

I'm flat out

after several

windscreen wipes

of repetitive

loopy din

where flies in my face

drop grime at my feet

driving me crazy.

somebody give me

a cool retreat

in a summer breeze

high above the trees

in a hilltop

a tower

a cubicle

a cell

a stone

a moment

to think
