Now forever will it last?

Now forever will it last?

I happened on Philip Glass while mulling over this poem and the 2 fit! http://www.philipglass.com

The unstoppable fleeting

Beating a path

Over my skimmed breath

Bouncing pulse in stone

No waiting on indecision

Just ploughing on;

Its marching orders

Mantra'd in iron-clad song

The unstoppable fleeting

Gone when it's gone

Til the next was the next

And first had no function

I build a dam

But it's too late

The moment has bolted

Out of warped gate

The unstoppable fleeting

Is a wisp, a mirage

A lop-sided versant

Sipping ether like mad!

When will it stop?

Take a rest and hover

Sit on tall pole

Its own mind to discover

And fall down

Gasping a snarl

Wings clipped

Spiralling a whirl

I Google composers

I find Philip Glass

Now I understand

Now forever will it last?
