please wont somebody

please wont somebody

A Poem by jinjahman

please wont somebody
ease the candle easy
sense the light that weeps frankly

there she stood before me - there she.
I wafted after the master key, aye
she the mistress, she cried for more tea-cosy-tea

- - - -

the day lasted 'til afternoon
the distance carried to the moon's tea-spoon
the butcher raising the lamb to the sky
[mast-ro-naut] flaking the minstrly wooly sky-pie
stanza-ing on a pouum in vacuum tomb

of what do we speak, venerate
of whence do we come to praise
not high for fallen sky of bethlehem
around this time of year
hi-low
low-hi
same-. . . . . . . . difference

This poem is a great showcase of how your mind picks ideas like stars from the firmament and attaches them to the page.
My fave star:
the day lasted 'til afternoon
the distance carried to the moon's tea-spoon
