When We Hug When we hug, The world stops... and I get lost in you I wake up and there you are, Fast asleep, facing me; I think to myself, this can't be real There's nowhere else I'd rather be, I reach over, tenderly touching your face, Running my fingers through your hair, If this isn't heaven it must be close, I can't help but smile and stare, The softness of your skin, The shadow of your smile, Such a calm and peaceful moment, I just lie there for a while, Its so quiet I hear your heartbeat, Feeling your soft breath on my fingers, I trace the outline of your lips, With my hand, as the moment lingers, Sadly this was only a dream, As I awaken and you aren't there, But in my heart it was all very real my love, I only wanted to make you aware....
