        And Wild Bill Lives On

The legend of Wild Bill, a loner which does his dirty work by night. Eventually became public enemy in light due to evidence of occult activity by investigators on a case. As police and detectives rushed Wild Bills dwelling, and looked into his job at the cemetery where he is employed. Ironically he worked the grave yard shift enabling him for over fifty years until being captured. As grave sites were being prepared. Wild Bill basically had been digging up grave sites while collecting skulls and bones. Wild Bill was using old bones, and fresh bodies to build art work at a barn he lived in behind, the older cites. A strange little man with an unusual hobby which police found at his home. Wild Bill lived a few miles at the end of the boulevard where the cemetery was located. He used his van for transporting human remains throughout his career at the cemetery all along. During these ordinary day to day plot preparations were done by Wild Bill at night. The following evening, his role was to fill in the hole of plots with dirt. But items first had to be removed which were left inside the coffins by the family of the deceased. Before finishing up, he stole body parts, and every skull from their graves. And on occasion an entire copse was stuffed into Wild Bills van. Wild Bill was eventually convicted on charges of transporting deceased remains, and cannibalism. Wild Bill is currently serving a life sentence at a psychiatric rehabilitation unit for the criminally insane. Wild Bill's real name was Hank Thomas, a professional brush painter.

Wild Bill lived a life of seclusion in a barn behind a home of old friends he grew up with from their same neighborhood. The couple took pity on him having no other friends or relatives. Wild Bill was also a professional church steeple painter by trade, a self taught steeplejack form of art. During his lifetime specializing in small town cornerstone churches from the sixteenth century. Well known for his fearless climbs to the tip to restore weather veins. All along stealing religious relics, and church keys as his collection for mock ceremonial funerals, and having bodies positioned on an alter for his satanic rituals. Afterwards, the bones and skulls were hung as decoration on every wall and with skulls hanging from his ceilings by thin wire throughout every room.

While the investigators searched his place, in the kitchen area. Wild Bill had steel rods layered on top of his stove with human remains skewed for roasting the flesh. A fowl stench put the searchers on high alert for any bodies lying around. Wild Bill kept clothing from the corpse stacked, and neatly wrapped inside a freezer locker. Wild Bill often dressed himself in the deceased persons clothes to work. There were also a collection of porcelain eyeballs stored in the refrigerator along with their scalps belonging to the dead bodies. His wild collections were arranged in male and female , side by side as if they were related to one another.

Also strange is; Wild Bill had an attraction for candles. All throughout the entire barn were hundreds of tiny devotionals; racks of them which were never lit. His front room was lined wall to wall with iron shelving between hanging bones everywhere. Another bizarre discovery which points to Wild Bill out as a serial killer. Underneath the alter were glass jugs filled with a mixture of human and pigs blood, a mystery cops believed something else is going on with the suspect.

Originally what lead the investigators on their first time looking into Wild Bill, and the suspicious activity, were the owners. The owners complained to Wild Bill about a city sheriff handing them  a municipal blight ordinance suit. Wild Bill changed the appearance of the barn dwelling from back to front over time with code alphabets using pieces of bone tacked along with the crazy symbols. Until then the owners must have been out of touch not to notice, but other concerned citizens made the call.

Wild Bill and his highly unusual partaking. More than a seemingly occult behavior. Wild Bill had been known for being a wild eccentric fellow in town. A loner with an odd job, and an artistic nut. A steeplejack by trade, it wasn't unusual for Wild Bill to be a collector of religious artifacts. They were items he used to decorate the lawn, and the barn with. But the writings and bone caught the attention of an inspector on another occasion.

What some neighbors were eventually saying are, Wild Bill being captured came as no surprise. Unusual talk  heard by the owners, because they had no clue. A house behind theirs, someone noticed Wild Bill pulling and lugging crates stuffed with heavy objects from the back of his van for years. A year ago that person asked Wild Bill to do some restoration on their barn. Knowing him to be an artist, they wanted theirs to have a  Gothic theme. Saying he came  through for them on theirs. Wild Bill dressed it up with some Halloween gore inside and out. A few bones, and partial skulls. They mentioned he did a wonderful job, but figured since Wild Bill worked at a cemetery, it was just another artistic value to it.

Now the difference what people knew, and a matter of fact. Wasn't much until police busted in on Wild Bill in the act. The report they wrote noted; Wild Bill was standing over a corpse, there behind an alter, stunned with amazement police were there. The suspect was wearing a hooded full length grim reaper shroud. Holding a pronged pitchfork in one hand, and a skull in the palm of the other. We knew it was over; when the suspect dropped the pitchfork on our command.

As for Wild Bill, and the collection of so many body parts, and bones. The place was in such neat and orderly condition. The detectives thought everything around were some sort of props of some kind originally. At first it looked as if Wild Bill is one of those lonely loner nut types acting out a fantasy. Cops see  this all the time when they respond to one of those nut calls.  But Wild Bill turned out to be  for real, living among us. Hijacking bodies from the cemetery for years, and ripping off churches of valuable antique icons. What a world,

----------Preface, straight from my novel, Komeo-------------

Bodies were being dropped off in my own neighborhood, and were being discovered all over the coast, one grisly find after another, and seeing these horrific sights caused me to yell at myself. As acting neighborhood block watcher with a background as a' crime journalist by trade, I kept my eye on an unassuming local trash picker who was roaming the neighborhood, which didn't seem to be right and didn't sit with me very well. Every fiber in my innards were saying about what I saw by caused me to watch this garbage picker's pattern. I almost went off the deep end when what I thought I saw was bodies being dumped out of his cart; which he uses to collect trash.

My name is the Newsman, and my person of interest is this trash collector named; KOMEO, who lived a life bent on terrorizing and stalking homeless people in society for his own reasons. Why he chose them as prey while roaming the streets committing mass murder may never be known. This story is more about my life as a' crime journalist rather than what causes a person to become a maniac, but the whole truth about the both of us comes out as the searching for Komeo evolves. Inside I felt this rare story was gushing to be told; after what I saw Komeo in action with my own eyes, and realized what lengths a' cannibal serial killer will take to stay on the run to hunt.

What happened after I saw bodies being dropped off was unbelievable. My neighbors were calling the police on me for spying on Komeo, and trying to convince them that this character is a danger wasn't getting any results. Everywhere I went; no one believed me. The cop's ignored this serial killer, and Komeo kept on vanishing before police could move in to make an arrest.

After many attempts and being the journalist I am, I became even more obsessed with my search. I went off the deep end from almost being killed by the killer myself, and became scared to death of Komeo. My search became more engaged for my journals, but it became more obvious to me; The Newsman, that the detectives just did not want to catch this particular serial killer.

People impose their beliefs or myths about crime journalists, which isn't really the truth about us at all. But if it makes them feel better in their imaginary world we created, than so be it, but we don't make these stories up.

I personally have found Komeo hiding out in tunnels, and back alleys; In abandoned mansions, and in places you would never imagine a' serial killer would be hiding in your neighborhoods. This is a story of one of those killers on a rampage. See for yourselves what, Newsman did to Komeo in my sequel; Its included. Another thriller in itself. Read into workings of a madman, the gut feelings, plus find out what a' crime journalist has to say about-his ordeal. Thank you, and remember this I can tell you.

"Be immune to rumor" Jimmy Nuzz.
