Solar PlexusA Poem by Jackin PraxisA young man's struggle with regret. A son's journey toward fulfillment. The son rises in the East, And says farewell to the Rest. No his heart wasn’t pieced, Debris still fills his chest. His soul roars like a beast, As pain pierces his flesh. Yet his life is but leased, In this world he’s a guest. He sees he’s done the least, With the life he’s been blessed. All the angst is released, as he embarks on his quest. So when he is deceased, All his dreams are posessed. Father frets in the East, The Son sets for the West. © 2017 Jackin PraxisFeatured Review
