Person I See Worth

Dedicated to one of my close friends who I can't forget and leave in my lifetime.

The time that we first met


At first, it was awkward


 We never knew where to start


Eventually we find ways, and continue on with the flow

We’re always in good sync


We have something in common


Jokes to laugh about


Conflicts to settle in


For better or for worse


We’re still here for each other, even making a fool of ourselves

At times, one of us get depressed


I always try my best to see if you’re okay


There are times you want to give up


You want to end your life here


Just so to get rid of the suffering

I’m scared


I don’t want to lose you


 To see you go or in painful times


Seeing the happiness fade in this soul of mine


A precious being that I see worth with these eyes

I would think what would happen to me when you’re gone


Other people would say;

Either forgetting about the person


 Move on with their life


Act like nothing happened


Still going on until the end, continuing to achieve

In my case


My usual self will start to fade


Going back to square one


Might even give up as well on my end


 Or continue to fight just for you instead

I want you to know


Even if the people around you


 or maybe even if the whole world starts rejecting you


I’m still here with you, no matter what

Even if it’s in person, or distanced away from each other


There’s no other way I’ll leave you behind


I’ll walk with you till the end


And see to it that we’ll achieve our own happiness

So please do know and remember


That you’re the person I see worth.
