Simply Music

Simply Music

A Poem by Jillian Alexis
"

....and how it makes you feel <3

"

Full of hope and precision

the answer to every decision

it melts your heart, sparks in your mind, a movement of times

times of silent but willful confessions, sinful transgressions, important lessons

melodies and tunes create memories in ruins

ignites passion at first sight, it gives the will to fight

played by day and felt by night

essentially in the end make it right

Its when individuality becomes scarce due to lack of ambition,

that artists take music and paint a different kind of picture,

one that is richer

when love and dreams combine behind the scenes,

give rise to new things

let it be your revival

a means of survival

let it move you, and consume you

make and undo you

just let the music speak through you

for its thats moment in time that tastes so divine

knowing someone comprehends, whats taking place within

My fav. lines: "played by day and felt by night
essentially in the end make it right..."

Yes, the music always impacts the elements of life, no matter what. To make life full of glory, music`s must. Music`s even itself an inspiration to an every melodic soul to get loved by the hearts. Nice imagery.

This is one love poem I understand. It danced through my head in a perfect melody of emotion. this poem is a river of life; how one can become reborn by simply using a sense. you have made art about art with art. your words hold color as well as music in themselves.

I love music, and this was filled with perfectly shaded nuances of life found within the rhythms and melodies... Yes, consuming and divine, and so beautifully woven. Welcome back, Jillian!

Hello Jillian,

Alexis is one of my favorite names. Thank a past love for that, but nevertheless, I love the name. You have an excellent write with tremendous flow. Especially in the first half of the poem, it was almost as if written in a specific melody. Great write and great read.

Regards,

Matthew
