After Night Desire Light

After Night Desire Light

A Poem by Jillian Alexis
"

you could take this a few different ways. hmm..i'll let you decide.

"

She laughed today

she cried tonight

thoughts ever changing

rearranging...

Oh beautiful woman with eyes bright

born of a will to fight

her skin of white longs for passion of night

for chocolate covered fingertips

to caress burgandy lips

in rose colored sight

hot wax, this lust ignites

never a spirit to be bound this tight

Look at her now

shes chasing survival

give her revival

wrong or right,

broken wings take flight

now craving the purest of light

You mingle such vast aspects of living into a wild stream... so like life! The joy broken by tears... strength, passion, and pain.. Wanting more, she searches beyond her shores for what might fulfill her... Poignant and powerful!
