Writers Block?

Writers Block?

A Poem by Jillian Alexis
"

Feeling like I cant write anything worth while lately.

"

Empty words to an Empty page

To this my soul has surrendered

Pen in hand, no longer flows smoothly

i'd like to say its just a case of writers block

and have hope that it soon will pass...

the truth is I cant help but wonder,

if my inspiration is lost and tangled

hiding somewhere amongst my past

a search party has been summoned...

for the words i cant seem to speak

Ohh yes you will my friend,i can sense you will speak,to no end
i could feel so much depth behind these words, behind what you call ,a block
hope may pass but followed by series of thoughts
no need for a search party, words will come soon ,i am sure
lovely write..

A well written piece on writers block which many can relate to
indeed; becomes quite frustrating until the muse returns

I don't believe in "Writer's Block" The only things that are holding us from writing are as known as depression, laziness, and procrastination... They only appear if you allow them to get to you... I'll admit I get them every now and then...

Anyway, it sure is very well written on pondering to write and whatsnot, so it's all good tho...

There is such an anxiety that can overtake writers when the words simply dont flow... like a singer who loses her voice... Your expressions bring about a vivid clarity to something we can relate to. Well done here!

That's one way to get rid of writer's block--writing about it! LOL. But you really summed up my feelings in this poem. Lately I can't seem to write either--I lose faith in myself no matter what. I could try this, though! Great poem!
