"

I am not the author of this..just an fyi..a fav poem of mine tho

"

When the world ends

I will be sitting on a beach

Watching the tide come in

With my mother,

Sharing an ice cream sundae

With hot fudge

I will be skipping

smooth

flat

rocks

Across the oceans current,

Enjoying life

for the time at last,

Mother and I will remember

The good times

And

Look at old photo albums

I will

Cry for the

time that will

not be and dream of it

when the world ends

There is such a beautiful tenderness here... a deep longing and desire evoking the deepest emotion. What a wonderful write that moves over the reader like waves of the sea...

A excellent poem. There a book. On the Beach by Nevil Shute. You may enjoy this book. Poem is beautiful for a poem about the world ends. To be with family and the ocean would be the way to go. Thank you.

A powerful piece. The end is the thing that we most forget about. The now is more important. It is nice to remember the past for it holds many happy and sad moments witch of course have led us to be whom we are now. The future is important as well but thinking too much about it might turn to disaster. Thanks for sharing!
