The Traveller

The Traveller

A Poem by Jijo Francis

Gazing the window, I felt this air.
It made my day as I slept my troubles.
I saw this plants and so many faces,
They told me stories, made me wonder.

When I travel I see the sky,
They seek my smile, shuts my pain.
I see water blue and green,
It casts my thirst, makes me clean.

Oh this shade that follows me,
Sooths my soul when you're not with me.
This travel which makes me ponder,
Wakes me from depths of despair.

I see travellers who share my fate,
They seek some time, some more face.
Follow this wind and follow the sky,
Let them aid you, as you share my ride.
