Love is spoken of by most but only understood by few.
When man and woman mutually connect and decide to share their intimate time and space, and birth children in the process, thus procreating and perpetuating the human race, that is love in its most concrete and intimate form as intended by Mother Nature, as is reflected by flora and fauna (animals and plants).
Parental love is the unconditional tender love and care and protection that man and woman devote to their offspring, having mutually joined intimately and produced children in whom they see an extension of themselves, genetically speaking, the manifested sweet fruits of that union; and that unconditional love is duty-bound.
Thus families, duty-bound by genetics, express love towards their relatives, i.e. brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, uncles, aunties...
When all humans look across the vast Earth and notice other families, not only bearing physiological resemblance as humans but just as mutually connected and duty-bound towards each other through love and tender care, they can relate to and respect other humans; thus expressing love on its expansive global level.
And it is this mutual understanding of our earthly co-existence, and the urgent need to protect our immediate environment for our general survival, that motivates social cohesion and harmonious collaboration. Thus on the social level, love is expressed among families and friends and colleagues and strangers.
And we love the beauty of nature (stars, moon, sun, plants, flying birds, colourful flowers, sweet fruits...) for we are in awe and wonder.
