Night

I have always been in favour of Night rather than the day..

 

I gave my soul the freedom to breathe and think on it’s own

I let it loose to see where I could go

Where it could take me

& I landed with you !

 

I let Love speak to me openly

I followed it’s path, and listened to it’s sweet whispers

I let love enfold me in it’s embrace and free my soul

But you held a part of me back !

 

The day passed and the night came

The core of being began

Little whispers of pleas, Quietly Shed

& you were no where to be seen !

 

I wonder what holds you back

Holds you apart from me

Hold you from giving me all freely

Then there comes nothing but silence!

 

I laugh, cry and enjoy

Pretend life’s a piece of the most delicious pie

Some look and leave other’s taste and displeased

The few who know my core is hard inside

Stick with me to see me survive

 

I once was a human

Fighting, Feeling, Rejoicing

Belonging to the same place you humans reside

Now i’m an outcast, dead inside

 

I once knew my destiny

Hoping, Wanting, Believing, Living for love

Those moments with you

& now i’m nothing but dust

 

I’ll live as a legend

Deep in all your Hearts

Deep in your conscience

Yet always apart !!
