the stringy painting

the stringy painting

A Poem by jhumur
"

a li'l part is inspired by madonna's song "masterpiece"

"

It’s a hollow room,

a room being a part of an apartment

reminds me of my inner self

where a thing called memory stays

i feel like an artist of my inner gallery

as i start to pick a few shattered pieces

Some of them are places

Painted with colors of nice memories

A warmth of known smiling faces

It was only yesterday that,

all of them were true

Without even brush or crayons..

Forever young through other side of a lens called life

Remembering the taste of a small sip of coffee

And colorful straws kept on the table

Raindrops travelling down through the window panes

few moments of love entangled with  wet hair strands

walking down the after rains roads

and kissing the moisture filled airs

breathing each moment of love that came across

knowingly sometimes..

or saying sorry and smiling for each known mistake!

it's just a part of this unfinished painting

like each one of us

are a part of our individual masterpiece

absolutely LOVE the beginning of the third stanza!! I felt it, it was just so vivid. Loved the color and how it contradicts the rain. Such an atmosphere!!

The first stanza i could do without, but i love the line "where a thing called memory stays" This is the only line that i feel fits in with the third stanza, the one that left the biggest impact. Maybe try to assimilate your topics more. Sorry if this doesn't make any sense xb i have the same issue, and you'll see a huge difference in the outcome of your writing.
