the pink lotus

the pink lotus

A Poem by jhumur

The pink lotus

The lucid multipetal queen

movingspirit driven by muds & pebbles

 your world is frowzy

Though caducity is charm

The moisture drowning your smack is cold

The essence to grow to bliss is warm

The pink lotus

What’s so impressive about the rose?

That vanity persevere even in the thorns

The smell,the spark

Or the ease with which the world plucks it out of its place!

The pink lotus

The inquest of mind still tries to find

A place where you float

A place where the rose stay

Different worlds though pink both of you are

One in the hands of a beauty

Broken in dark & near to fade

The other created to die in hands of ecstasy

freed of all what we call “attire”
