Distance

Distance

A Poem by John Fred

I saw you from a distance.

Having a glimpse of you.

Memories flashes back.

The things we do before,

Like how we used to.

I saw you, staring at me.

Am I really the one you’re looking for?

Maybe I’m just assuming things.

How are you?

Are you okay?

I want to say hi to you,

But the fear of rejection,

Stopped me from going to you.

How I wish that you will come to me.

And say hello.

I want to talk to you.

To clear things out,

To tell how much I love you.

And ask If we could bring back,

The times where everything is okay.

I want hug you,

To heal the pain that I carry.

To let you know what I really feel.

To tell you what I really feel

To let you know that I am sorry.

Hi,

How are you?

I’m sorry,

I miss you,

I love you.

Very real. Very great write. I like the feel this carries. I also enjoy the perspective written. That uncertainty..... Aye.

Simple and elegantly written!
This shows a longing and passion well described.
