God, You Know

I found this poem in one of my notebooks recently. I wrote it over 2 years ago, before I was into writing and didn't have much experience writing. Constructive Criticism is welcome!

God, You know how I feel,

I want to be in the middle of Your will.

So please take my plans,

And all life's demands.

Take my burdens away,

And help me to live Your way.

Help me to stand up,

And never give up.

And when I am scared,

Help me be prepared,

To tell those who haven't heard,

About Your one true Word.

^^ Oh I like this, it is very important to ask for God's will be done and for us to be prepared and ready in order to follow through with what God leads us to do. This actually is a subject I was talking with my family this morning, that we need to stand firm in God's word and not be afraid to share and do God's will!

Thank you! Yes, it is very important for us to ask for God's will, that is the safest place we can be, right in the middle of His will! It's one thing to say "Your will be done" but it is another thing entirely to live it out and follow through! That's awesome that you were just talking about this! Thanks again! :)

This is really good! Its simple and yet so thought-provoking. I really like the title too. It kinda reminds me of a prayer, one perhaps we should pray more often. Great job!

Thank you! I almost can't believe I wrote it 2 years ago, lol! Thank you, I actually had to think about the title for a while, but when I chose this one, it seemed to fit well. :) Yeah, the idea at the time was to be prayer-like! Thank you again!
