Happiness

Everyone deserves it right? It just came to my mind..also a fast write

Happiness

 

It’s what everybody wants.

If you believe in yourself,

A lot of happiness might be found

Free yourself from stress

And feel free to spread your wings

And fly to your heart.

Each has eyes to see,

To see each happiness

Each has mind,

To think of their love

And everyone had gifts

A gift of a friend

And an everlasting gift of happiness

If you try to share happiness

Then, we’ll all be able to share laughs,

Smiles and a lot of stuff that’s jovial.

But as we grow older

We try to love someone and we hurt them

Sometimes we are the ones who are hurt

We let others down

Best friends fight and

The relationship you created

Was just trashed

But within that despair

There’s always happiness

Found at the end.

I don't know. Flow seem to be odd. But you are saying so much in the poem. I like the beginning. Friendship keeps us a float. Ending went into a discussion. Could expand it and make the poem stronger. I like the poem as is. A positive ending.
