The Beauty of Life

The Beauty of Life

A Poem by Jessica Green

The beauty of life resides within the inner gaze

no man made weapon can equal its purest ways

Through the roots of trees to the beds of the seas

no greater force on earth is able to teaze

Though cruel and commanding our mother may choose to be

she gives life and neccessaties for all beings to breath

Nothing can equal the stars in the sky, its indigo

blue and its white diamond eyes

Nothing can equal the greenest hills

with its emerald touch and earthly wisdom.

From the golden dunes to the most majestic waterfall

what could be more beautiful for us to recieve

yet so willingly corrupt and set out to decieve

This is so pure and vivid, what a wisdom out of your words, very beautiful.
And so close to nature, I like this.
