Dream ThoughtA Poem by Jason GalligerIn the break before the dawn a reverb of thought caught between a dream and daybreak echoes through the bedroom sliding across sprawled sheets ducking under bathroom vanities peeking between your hippocampus and frontal cortex but before you can point a finger and say; “HA! I found you.” GROAN -creak in the bedspring- it’s gone out the window soaring among the morning birds till sunset comes again. © 2010 Jason Galliger |
