UNTITLED #5

By: JB Murray © November 2010

JUMP

She says

It’s all the same

This winter wind

This fading flame

LIE

She taunts

And laugh aloud

Play pretend

With all your clowns

SEE

She speaks

With open mind

This lover’s dance

This thorny vine

FALL

She pleads

From your dark cloud

Leave hell behind

Let heaven surround

LOVE

She asks

With trembling lips

Only if you could

With this last breath

RUN

She screams

Go save yourself

From all of you

And no one else
