A contest poem... with an intersting first line... so many ways to run with it... I chose the darker side of things...

ADDICTION

By: JB Murray © April 2010

Falling down into the darkness

I see nothing

But I remember this place

The smells and sounds

The slow, incestuous ticking of time

The unnerving breath on the back of my neck

I hear the faintest of whispers

An adulterous kaleidoscope

The coppery overtones of skin and flesh

Ah yes…  This is what love tastes like

This is quite interesting hope you don't mind but I kind of chuckled at the end of this. It's wonderful but i felt the need to laugh at what love taste like. I hope you don't mind me reviewing your stuff. I like what I have read so far.
