Something I learned Today

"Feelings are nice, but you can't bank on them. Tears are not currency, and the only promises that should be made are ones you know you can keep, based on what you know about the promisee and yourself. Facts must be gathered in order to make an educated decision, because the older you get...the smaller your margin for error. Love is not a legal contract, but it requires as much commitment as one to remain strong. This is why family is so important. I don't put this stuff out there for any other reason than the fact that I like to share what I've learned. If you find it useful, please use it. If you do not, please discard. I don't know it all, but then again, I don't claim to. Had there not been people out there willing to share their insights with me, I would not be the person I am today, so I pay it forward. The last thing I am is enlightened, I will always strive to be though"
