The Cynic (pt. 2)

The Cynic (pt. 2)

A Poem by Jay M. Jones

Brighter, Smarter, a go getter, intelligent, savvy, has good portofllio, many friends, even more acquaintences, descisive, good with money, in excellent health, good to others, kind, angry inside, wiating to breathe out once eyes are turned away, ready to stop sucking in gut, up to elbows in debt, mutters under breath as friends walk away, talks openly about hatred of acquatineces, waiting for the day to end, days to end, weeks, years, clips grey hairs from nose, while looking in mirror with wide eyes, where did the time go? What have i done?

Another great piece. But I must admit, I like the first one better. This one reminds me of my piece "The Man That Ruined My Life" a bit. Kudos.
