We scroll endless,
our time noiseless.
The time ticking away,
taking the time away,
In search of inspires,
nothingness aspires,
I can’t say more
than to live more,
counts of sheep,
a lullaby to sleep,
pat your eyes,
weave dreams,
stars our lamplight,
moon kisses goodnight,
fantasy world dancing,
poetry words whirling
many things slurred
to be ever remembered.
Your words resonate deeply with me, as I often find myself scrolling through my phone during sleepless nights. The imagery you create with lines like "our time noiseless" and "stars our lamplight, moon kisses goodnight" beautifully captures the quiet, almost surreal moments of insomnia. Your poem eloquently portrays the struggle between seeking inspiration and the inevitable pull of sleep.
Thank you for sharing this poignant piece that so many of us can relate to.😁
I always enjoy literaure that explores and exposes the addictive nature of technology. The line "our time noiseless" in my mind means that because of the way we are spending our time (mostly on technology) we value it less. I think the rest of the poem is possibly trying to say that we should spend our time more wisely. At least that is how im interpreting it im not entirely sure though.
Writing heals me.
I'm mother of two funny kids, nothing i can think of more. Beware, i can be so much friendly that you can't escape. 😅
