The DreamScape

The DreamScape

A Poem by jex

In my reverie,
A passing thought runs through my reflections,
Dead lies stream through the dream

I ride the pain out,
Past these reflections,
Cries shattering my sphere

I can't wait to be here

Passive,
Here I wait,
Struck by these void inquiries

Stuck in this room,
Of all of my thoughts,
And all of my dreams

I wait for the end,
Wrapped around the bend,
My mind can't drive me out of this crash

I wait for the end

I'm strained here,
Releasing my fears,
Waiting for the morning to come

I hope the embers burn deep,
Deep in my skin,
While the sun grows in the sky

No escape's better than that,
No way to leave this dream,
As this intellectual sickness,
Passes straight through me

I wait for the end

Seems like a lot of depth into this; like a loss of hope. Like this part:
"I'm strained here,
Releasing my fears,
Waiting for the morning to come

I hope the embers burn deep,
Deep in my skin,
While the sun grows in the sky "
