I wish I could say that the past is gone,

That holding you is a long lost memory,

But in the end all I fear,

Is remembering the tragedy

I still remember every moment,

Every love filled embrace,

All the nights spent together,

As time slowed its pace

I remember how we lost ourselves,

And I remember how we met,

And every passionate kiss and cuddle,

As we thought our lives were set

If I could give anything though,

I'd have to say,

I'd give my life,

For just one more day
