Sorry, tab is broken right now, my the chrome servers are down and I have to use either IE or firefox, when I'm on this site, tab changes the selected text box. Also a actual title and image are needed, so if anyone can help, please do.

You mentioned you are having keyboard trouble. I did a little investigating for you and found a nice Freeware utility to help. It lets you remap one key for another and has a very simple interface.

The download itself is not a front-end to download it off the Internet unlike most websites force you to do today so it is a direct download EXE installer for the program itself.

I have tried it, it's just a problem where every browser uses tab as a switch selected option-box-thing (very technical name), so it will switch from the text box to the next option. I can't seem to figure out what to do.

I guess I have to ask, do you have a mouse on your computer ?

Yes, both a track pad and a mouse. It is a default setting for many windows 8 computers. Although I do have the track pad disabled most of the time.
P.S. If you have a name that you think may be good for this, I'm still looking.

Well all I'm seeing from what you said is that you cannot hit the TAB key, correct ? Would you like me to write you a program that lets you hit the + from the NUM LOCK to be remapped to the TAB key ?

If you would like, I tried, but I got irritated with the computer. I'm not very good a programing though, so you could probably get it.

I just was not sure why it wasn't working. I'm much better at programing something like a game or anti-virus (and one time a virus) I looked at the source code for firefox, it just confused me.

Unpack the contents, run the EXE. A small green H will appear in your taskbar. Right-click on it with the option to exit.

What does it do ? Now when you press or hold the + from the NUMBER KEYPAD, it will hit the TAB key instead.

It works, but the problem doesn't seem to be that the tab key is bound to two keys, it seems to be that two actions are bound to one key type. Just the opposite of key bound conflicts. But where did you learn to code, I haven't had much luck with rebinding the tab key myself. I may just make an entirely new web browser, I've been putting it off any ways. Thanks though.

Gosh - I'm - not really understanding what you need. As for writing your own web browser, WOW ! That's well beyond my ability. And yes, I'm a bit of a programmer - I rarely code these days, almost anything you need is already out there.

I'm not good with many languages, mostly html and a bit with modding Java (can't quite get the hang of it, people say after learning one language, you can learn the others quicker, but I don't know), it isn't really that big of a program. Just the GUI will take a while to design. But when I finish, you'll be the first to know.

I got the skeleton up, but I have found the problem, it is the website itself. It is basically hardwired into the site that if you press tab, first it tries to switch to a new selected text box before trying to indent, so I'll just have to get together some kind of word pad or something, but I don't have the money to get any Microsoft office stuff, so I'll just barrow my friends text editor.

Well now here is what I have found. You can use EMBED, IFRAME, FLASH, and OBJECT, but no javascript. That kinna bites on the last one, but I well understand. You can do a world of bad to another user with Javascript, perhaps even unintentionally.

Yup, that's why I don't screw with that kind of stuff. Last time I tried, I just ended up making a small virus. But I guess that that was a good thing because I had to make an anti-virus software I still use.

You wrote some anti-virus software ? That's well beyond my ability. I'm better streaming media and content over the Internet as well as finding it. I don't program as much as I used to.

It was more of a detection and override program. It isn't that complicate, you just need to tell it what can be recognized as a virus, give it a pop up that makes you aware when you download a potential harmful program and give it administrator access. The only thing that took any real time was setting up a quarantine system for it. I made it with C++, so it could probably be a lot easier than it was, but you could probably make one if you really wanted/needed. I don't update it too much though, so I couldn't offer it in all good conscious.

Wow - that's light years out of my reach. I think one of the best anti-virus programs I've come across is Malwarebytes. They're pretty good - not bloatware like McAfee or similar.
