Don't

Don't

A Poem by j.l. luna

you don't have to love me

but do not strum a single note

that bears my name

you don't have to love me

but do not ask to borrow my pen

or my time for that matter

you don't have to love me

but do not tell me I was once

the photograph on your desk

you don't have to love me

but do not tell me if that's so

because it's 3 AM and I'm alone

you don't have to love me

but I wish you would

I'm too young to feel this old

Just wanted to say this really spoke to me. I love the simplicity and rawness of it, it relates well to my own situations right now. Great job, keep it up!
