DriveA Poem by BodineMultiple cinquain
These days
I live in an apartment building, in and amongst many parking lots. Sometimes I walk through them, as some wander through their own lives. I don't live out of my car, but, sometimes, I do depend on my inner drive to get to my ultimate destination -- or, at least, to get to the next intersection on the way. Dusk is falling; I'd better head home for the night. Tomorrow, I know, I'll realize how long I've been on my own life-road -- could be it's time I headed out of my inner city and began that LONG road trip we all face. © 2016 Bodine |
