Teleportation Is Temperamental

Everyone has been asked at least once
If you had one superpower
What would it be?
 
X-ray vision, some would say
So I could see all that happens around me
Super speed, maybe
So I could get to everywhere and everyone I need
Mind control, even
That would make them all do what they’re told
Or what if I could fly?
Travel across the world, touring the sky
 
I can see the reason behind all of these
But there’s just one answer
That strikes curiosity to me
 
Teleportation has always been a favorite
To those around me
But it makes me wonder
If I had that power
What would I want to see?
 
If I could travel anywhere I want
Where would it be?
And would it really matter
Everywhere I go
There’s pain
There’s hurt
There’s hunger
There’s disease
There’s so many problems
I wish I could fix
But all I would see
Is more death
Is more pain
 
Sure things can be okay
Sure they can be nice
But what about when it’s all stripped away
And all that’s left
Is strife?
 
It’s already hard to deal with what’s going on around me
If I could see what’s in the outside world
I'm sure I’ll go crazy
So I think I’ll just stay here
On the ground
Attempting to control my own thoughts
Baring only what my vision allows me to see
Walking at the same pace
Staying in the same place

I think that if there were a large group of people, and they were all asked this question, yours may be the only reasonable answer, and of course I'd be in that circle, and 'making cake appear' would be my super power, just so that we don't get any in Brooke's hair any more > . >;
