Fighting A Losing Battle

 

Here I am once again

Lying in my bed thinking of you

I know I shouldn’t be

But it’s not that easy

Every time I close my eyes

It’s your face that appears before mine

I can’t get you out of my head

And if I could, would I?

No, not in a million years

So I’ll sit here and wipe away my own tears

Hoping, wishing, and praying to God

That you could be mine

It might not align with His will

But I want you still

Please God, grant me this one request

Even if he’s not the best

I can’t stop loving him

I can’t fight these feelings anymore

I'm fighting a losing battle

I know how this feels...

For some reason I thought of that...yeah, I guess I'm kind of weird...but this poem was...how do I say it? aah, it just really hit an emotional spot in me ^_^
and yeah, from what I see, you do delight in Him, and (although I'm saying the same Harry said, I do mean it ^_^) I really do hope for the best for you. =)
