I blush and avert mine

My head is now on your shoulder

Your finger entwined in mine

No one else in sight

We could get away with anything

The blanket covers us

Covers us from the outside world

Me, you, the blanket, the stars

My heart is racing

I know what you're thinking

I’m terrified

I’m not ready for that

Noticing my discomfort, you laugh

Assuring me that you are not after that

Closer and closer your lips are to mine

Sweet moment, a love so divine

For there is no purer bliss
