Why the Titanic ship sink

One of my classmate in my bachelors asked why did the Titanic ship sink in movie, 

one girl said because of iceberg, a natural thing in sea, which was not realised by the captian. 

But he said it is not the reason, the actual reason is captain got immersed in the crazy kissing scene of Jack and Kate in the movie, 

But for me,  i feel the love exposed was reason, why to disturb with how much we love, thats why i keep all my secrets in my heart never exposed never lead to nazar on us, or ever damage our relationship because of people. 

you can give your view on this.

Bu for me Titanic is incredible story, the movie got hit not for the fact that ship was in history, but for the true love story of Kate a  queen/traveller who sincerely loved Jack came out of richness throwing away al the shackles around her and lived like a potter.

all these days fate and destiny both are same i thought, with karma i mean actions, fate can be changed, where horoscope was written when you were born at birth can be changed over the time, which i was explaining all these days,

it would have been a documentary without a love story of Kate, their love story gave a great thrill/emotions for dead to watch the movie till end.
