Today is pethramaasa
The first day of Bathakamma

We get all kinds of flowers
Thangedu, Seetha jada puvvu, gunugu puvvu, banthi, thamara
We make the bathakamma
We go to temple
We sing and play songs around bathakamma
Till 8 days
Last day we make gouramma and
We make float bathakamma in river or lake water
We bid and say come again bathakamma in the next year.
