Usha, the dawn, is often invoked, and is the subject of some of the most beautiful hymns that are to be found in the lyrical poetry of any ancient nation.
Of the hymns to other deities, the hymns to those to Usha, the Dawn, are especially beautiful. Some of the loveliest nature poetry of this period is dedicated to her, depicted as a young maiden who comes to mankind in the special characteristics of the dawn. Dawn bring a feeling of hope and refreshment, of entering into the activity of the universe.
Beautous daughter of the sky!
Hold they ruddy light on high,
Grant us wealth and grant us day,
Bring us food and morning's ray.
White-robed goddess of the morning sky,
Bring us light, let night's deep shadows fly.
"We gaze upon her as she comes
The shining daughter of the sky
The mighty darkness she uncovers,
And light she makes, the pleasant one that we see."
This light, most radiant of lights, has come; this gracious one who illumines all things is born. As night is removed by the rising sun, so is this the birthplace of the dawn....We behold her, daughter of the sky, youthful, robed in white, driving forth the darkness. Princess of limitless treasure, shine down upon us throughout the day." - Rig Veda I. 113.
The Gayatri Mantra(chant), which forms the core of Hindu faith, is actually addressed to Surya, Sun God:
" Om bhūr bhuvah svah tat savitur var"nyam bhargō d"vasya dhīmahi dhiyō yō nah pracōdayāt"
O splendid and Effulgent Sun, we offer this prayer to thee. Enlighten this craving mind. Be our protector. May the radiance of the divine ruler guide our destiny. Wise men salute your magnificence with oblations and words of praise."
Lord Rama was also taught, by sage Agastaya, the Adityahridayam, a prayer addressed to the sun god. "The Sun is the foremost physical manifestation of divine creative power. In the glorious morning the faithful bend towards the giver of life in one single gesture of adoration. "
I am sorry to my dear ones(Elder people/Gurus), who unknowingly did mistakes, but i dont want let them leave this earth with a dhabba on their face, I want to be given one more chance to be ever proud of their kid.
Hope you dont missunderstand me and critique writing as hurting, I can see how strong you are and how weak you are getting because of having given birth to him, thats why I am taking my lead as your Manasaputrika, though not in your home but in your heart.
This really hurts, when you compare light as means to serve/being used, and darkness as missusing the light for their exploitation. Everyday nobody wants to give light and being exploited as innocents, people should come out from this veil of cycle of everyday, a single person cant clean like pakeeja the washrooms, where you just keep on pooping, being her treated as queen, and other as second queen. I dont know how to tell in a softer way, still i am trying to be MAlALA YOUSUFZAI, where people are forcing me to, but I dont see I need to be her, if she is already there.
Here the light I feel as teachings to clean the dirt, and darkness as the evil in their minds, where cruelty is rising to a level, where if you fall or love anyone, you will keep her as wife in home, however many women, they like.
Sorry for my comments, please give a thought about ones feelings. I am not disrespecting elders who really care for theirs, but this to the persons, who really are exploiting being wanted to look as kids.
