I am lost

I am lost

drowning in an abyss of darkness

leading to nowhere

but always ending up somewhere

 

I am lost

gasping for breath

nowhere near water

all my limbs going numb

 

I am lost

stumbling with eyes closed

light shining all around

never being able to see

 

I am lost

grasping for hands

waiting to be saved

with people around

 

I am lost

Trembling in the cold

freezing my soul

next to a warm fire

 

I am lost

screaming profusely at no one

losing my voice

while everyone wears headphones

 

I am lost.
