After 10 years, I still break down when I recalled what happened to mum when she found out dad like someone else besides her. It is also the day I realise I need to grow up, fast.

The afternoon I saw you sat on the floor

The afternoon I saw you slump your shoulder

The afternoon I saw you crooked your back

The afternoon I saw tears flowing down your face

The afternoon I saw you broke into tears

The afternoon I saw you as fragile as a baby

The very first time I saw you cried

The very first time I let myself know that I could not fall

The very first time I ate food and it hurt to swallow

The very first time you cooked in tears

The very first time I saw your swollen eyes

I did not know after 10 years, I will still cry after this

Will I cry over this 20 years later, mum?

I have never had the chance to ask dad why he did this.
