Everlasting Hope, Love

I'll always remember this ring you put on my finger, it stands for hope and love.

If life is always smooth sailing by,

It wouldn’t feel so miraculous for us to have met each other.

Because we often forget about the worth of someone when…

We have everything.

If life is always sugar and cream, our hearts would maybe sail far apart.

Because we forget to feel what’s truly precious to us when we have it easy.

If someone always is available for us, the bond wouldn’t be tight.

Because we could easily take things for granted.

We are appreciating every moment together, because…

We know the challenges of just wanting to see each other…without screens, without waiting…

Who would have thought wanting someone to be near us all the time could be challenging?

If life is always breezy and sunny, who would have thought…

Having someone hugging us warmly means so much?

I wish we could see each other every single day, every single morning when we wake up, every night when we close our eyes….

But would I know how precious you’re to me if we came easy to each other?

Being in love with someone…

Who is far from me,

Whose hands I don’t get to hold every day,

Whose tears I don’t get to wipe off when she has a bad day..

Is awful.

But…it makes us special.

Each time I look at you, all I see is how beautiful it is to be there with you.

Whenever I hold your hand, it feels like fairy tales are real.

Whenever I hug you to sleep, it feels like you’re a God-sent to me.

Whenever I look into your eyes, it feels like I have surrendered my heart to you.

I know…you’re all I need.

If you fall in this steep climb we call ‘LIFE’… I promise you, only you…

I will hold you up.

I’ll cushion your fall, pick you up, and walk with you, each step at a time, to the finish line.

My girl, I’ll soothe your heart, and climb this hike with you,

It isn’t awful because…

We found each other.

A love story which bloomed at the right time,

I knew you were different when you brought back life to my then dying heart.

During the time we met, I knew how unlikely it was to be able to find someone who could make me redefine what’s love,

To understand how important it is to be able to love, but…

You came by…

And you make me believe in true love.

I didn’t even believe love lasts until I met you.

If you weren’t my miracle, I have no words to describe this beautiful change you brought to me.

I know life isn’t rosy today, tomorrow and maybe for the next few months,

But if you fall,

No matter how hard or how often,

I would make sure that you would always have me to accompany you through.

We must hold on tight to each other,

And, we will get by any challenges in life.

You’re the only person of whom I have ever made vows to God to take care.

I promise God I will always walk with you, and I said ‘If you bless me, please bless her too’.

Never worry, my girl, for God is kind to us.

Or, God wouldn’t have brought us together, on that lonely night of mine.

We are going to grow up together and grow old.

Cry many many times, but we also will laugh many many times.

Hope and love are all we ever need.
