What Hope really is

At times, I feel so helpless, so confused and even

so useless is not foreign to me

When I do not know who I am, do not know where I’m from nor do I know where I should go

That’s when the sky gets dark, filled with random gloomy, heavy clouds, waiting to rain over me accompanied by tears that run freely on my face

Hope is not there when I look for it, Hope does not like me anymore, Hope is just merely a word ‘hope’

It has no meanings, no usage, it is nothing but merely an empty words people like to say

But today,

I am not me

I see hope, I see who I am, I know where I am from and the most unique is I know where to go

Today, hope is not merely a word, it’s not empty

It fills my heart with meanings, beautiful meanings ‘hope’

I will not let myself down

I will not give up on myself because

They haven’t given up on me

Hope may be hard to find, hard to keep, hard to understand but it can be very simple at times

It means we have a future. Hope merely means we do have a future.

The future is for us to see, for us to experience, dark or bright it is still a future

After all, that’s what life is

We are here to experience the present and to look forward to the future

The past does not matter anymore for it is something that should be kept in our heart for remembrance but remembrance does not mean stagnant, 

remembrance tells us something is worth to be kept in our heart, our mind, our soul and we live with that

To live with that, we move on, we walk on our own two legs, to find and to experience the future

To live means to experience the future with your life and being stagnant is not part of life.

Life is to be filled with loveliness, wonderfulness, and 

for most, we should live our life because life means nothing without us, 

life needs us. 

Therefore, we are to live with the greatest will we could ever possibly strive. 

And here, we live.
