ὈρφεύςA Poem by Lady Lazarus.Keep looking back and stopping the future.
This coarse honey which has muted
you gave the crayons to help me colour head low,my arms and legs are rooted into soil that yields nothing ,but dandelions I drift it apart and I contemplate nothing whilst you swim so valiant and supernal perhaps we can dive and hold our breaths pulseless we crash into the world muffled and mumbled we return to a place we're strangers to running forwards always progressing seem to only accomplish a decent pace threw away my lyre and forgot the condition I turned round to face you....I looked back. I drift it apart and I contemplate nothing whilst you swim so valiant and supernal perhaps we can dive and hold our breaths pulseless we crash into the world muffled and mumbled we return to a place we're strangers to much to weary for adulterated pleasures though I tell myself I really want them This fatigue has made me so young crying for the intimacy © 2010 Lady Lazarus. |
